Pay Rate: $35-$40 an hour
Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of construction projects on-site. This role involves managing a team of workers, ensuring safety standards, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Experience in dirt work on commercial projects is required.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate daily operations of construction projects on-site.
Manage and lead a team of workers, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Manage and maintain construction equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe and operational condition.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Collaborate with project managers to develop work plans and schedules.
Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
Essential Skills
Experience in dirt work on commercial projects.
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as dozers and excavators.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong supervisory skills.
Experience in commercial construction.
Knowledge of construction management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
