ReliaRide FKA Scenic View Transportation is a family-oriented, non-profit organization looking to hire WHEELCHAIR drivers. We specialize in providing non-emergent transportation services to the elderly, underprivileged, and disabled population for medical, non-medical, and other necessary appointments. We are looking for someone to join our team who has a caring heart to help those in need in the community. We provide medical and non-medical transportation predominantly in NE Ohio. Your primary job responsibilities are to provide door-to-door services and ensure clients arrive at their scheduled appointments safely and on time. *A company vehicle is provided for client transportation *
All drivers must:
- Be a US citizen.
- Hold an active driver's license with four points or less in the last three years.
- Have no criminal history (BCI and FBI checks performed regularly).
- Pass a physical, 50 lb lift test, and drug and alcohol test.
- Communicate using email/text messaging and tablet-based apps.
- Comply with industry standards and maintain CPR/ first aid & drive training certifications (provided by the company)
Position-specific requirements:
- Must have weekly Saturday availability
- Must be willing to train as a wheelchair-capable driver upon hire
