2nd shift (2:30pm – 10:30pm) for a foods company in the baking industry
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work with a team of four to ensure production equipment runs smoothly. You will schedule preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform emergency repairs, focusing on pumps, bearings, gearboxes, grease, 3-phase electrical systems, ovens, and more.
Keep production equipment running efficiently.
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
Work with pumps, bearings, gearboxes, grease, and 3-phase electrical systems.
Perform PM and emergency calls on ovens, conveyors, mixers, gearboxes, and motors.
Change belts and perform other mechanical adjustments.
Essential Skills
Electrical - 3-phase wiring
Mechanical - gears, motors, grease, bearings, pneumatics
Welding - TIG welding and fabrication
PLC troubleshooting
Hydraulics
Blueprint reading
Conveyer maintenance
