Here's What You'll Get To Do * Ensures continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventing maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines * Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to complete maintenance tasks * Troubleshoots equipment, determines appropriate repairs and defective parts replacement, and performs all requirements for maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. This requires determining the root cause of malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments * Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools * Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments * Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straight edges * Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs * Work towards continuously improving housekeeping, safety, quality, and productivity, and supports an environment that empowers employees * Uses required personal protective equipment * Other duties as assigned
Here's What We're Looking For * 3-5 years experience in Maintenance in an industrial plant * Ability to work with production to ensure timely repair of equipment * Ability to work independently and proactively * Basic computer familiarity * Good organizational skills * Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude * Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems * Ability to understand and work from mechanical and electrical prints * Experience with CNC and PLS systems * Safety, detail, and quality oriented * Proficient troubleshooting skills * E-Maintenance, Universal maintenance (well-rounded) * Strong on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is a plus * Knowledge of control circuit wiring 24VDC is a plus * Prior involvement with continuous improvement initiatives
