Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as building maintenance within the plant. The machinery includes industrial shredders, grinders, separation equipment, heavy molding equipment, laminating, and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform 80% mechanical preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Conduct 20% electrical troubleshooting and repair.

  • Handle hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

  • Understand and follow PM schedules.

  • Work in both dirty and clean environments as required.

  • Engage in physical tasks related to maintenance activities.

Skills

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills on mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (dirty or clean).

  • Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

  • Understanding of PM schedules.

  • GED/HS Diploma.

Shift:

2nd & 3rd shift training on first shift!

Work Environment

The work environment is hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and dirty all year. Half of the plant is rougher due to grinding and breaking down rubber tires into fine raw material, while the other side is cleaner where the final product is molded and prepared for shipping.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $79040.00/yr.
